For Resten 3.0.0

The Resten initiative simplifies the process of storing and utilizing all your ingredients and leftovers from meals. It aims to help users save money, save time, and reduce hassle in everyday life.

The platform provides educational content on raw materials, including guidance on proper storage practices, shelf life, and how to assess whether food is still safe to consume or should be discarded.

Users can access recipes and additional tips designed to assist in minimizing food waste.

Initially launched in 2012, the first version of the For Resten app has undergone substantial development, now offering expanded information about ingredients and more practical advice.

For Resten is a project supported by the Danish Environmental Protection Agency through the "Puljen til Mindre Madspild 2016" grant. It is a collaborative effort between the Danish Consumer Council (Forbrugerrådet Tænk), Stop Spild af Mad, and the Danish Agriculture & Food Council.
